What is ChileArab?

ChileArab Advisors is a boutique consultancy firm on trade and investments between Chile and the Middle East, on Food Security and Renewable Energies, with a wide experience and network in both regions.

Since its creation in 2007, ChileArab has worked with government entities in Chile on halal certification, the Chilean participation at the Gulfood Show in Dubai, and the opening of the ProChile office in the UAE. It has also advised Uruguay XXI with the IADB on Market Intelligence for Arab Countries.

At the same time, it has organized several trade missions from Chile to the Middle East, and from the Middle East to Chile, as the ASPA Business Summit in Doha, the Business Mission that accompanied King Abdullah II of Jordan’s visit to Chile, and the Latin American Business Forum in Abu Dhabi organized by the Gulf Latin Leaders Network.

Jorge Daccarett

Former Ambassador to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait.

In 2007 he founds ChileArab to link Chile with the Middle East, linking companies and governments of both regions in terms of trade and investments.

He has also advised Bank of Palestine for the opening of their Rep. Office in Chile, to serve the communities in Latin America.

Between 2011 and 2014, he was appointed as Executive Director of the Chilean Development Cooperation Agency, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, starting his diplomatic career. Later, in 2018, he was appointed as the Chilean Ambassador to the GCC Countries, based in Abu Dhabi.

Back to Chile on 2022, he reopens ChileArab to promote business and investments between Chile and the GCC member countries.

Daccarett is an Engineer from the Universidad Católica de Chile, with an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He speaks Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and Arabic
